Rayyan and Abbas founded appsworks in Santa Clara. Prior to this, they had both been working independently as developers in a variety of programming languages. However, the advent of the web and iPhone framework was too enticing an opportunity to miss, and they therefore joined forces to create a company solely devoted to it.
